Condo/Co-op Board member question

I'm sure a lot of you out there serve on the boards of your co-op or condo (or you live in a building that has a board!) and was wondering if your building has a website where meeting minutes are published, there is a resident directory, you can post questions or submit maintenance requests, etc.

I'm looking for something like that for my building...nothing fancy, any basic template would do and I'm sure there are some local web folks who design or host that type of thing. Any recommendations? Links to examples would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me pick the collective brains of the neighborhood. :)

  • Yes, we have a Yahoo group devoted to our condo, where we post updates about the building (repairs, etc) and resident grids, etc.

Yahoo groups are pretty easy to set up and maintain.
  • Thanks Bergenites...that is a great idea and is something that can be set up really quickly and cover most of the basics. I would still like to see if there are other types of websites that can add in additional features such as maintenance tracking and things like that, but the groups idea will get most everything started.

    Other suggestions still welcome, too!
  • We are a small building, so, we don't have anything like that.
