  • The last time Charles played at Aji I got to meet some of the Brooklynians in person. It was a hoot. So if there is any chance you will be there on Thursday evening let me know either pm or in the open forum so we can meet. And for goodness sakes, if you go to Aji at any time introduce yourself to Piero... he gets so tickled when he actually meets people posting here.

P.S. I am sincere about this but it is a shameless plug to bring this to the top again so that people do show up and great Jazz becomes a regular happening at Aji!
  • I hope no one is upset if I bump this up to the top.

    This music happens tonight.

Also the word is that Aji has been reviewed by chow hound.
  • Aji has excellent drinks; the pisco sour and passion fruit martini are droll worthy. Love the home made corn nuts too.

I'd be curious to see the chowhound thread, please post if you find it.
  • I looked and didn't find it yet. Apparently whoever showed up from Chowhound was only there afew days ago so perhaps review isn't up yet. In looking for it I did find reviews on Citysearch and afew other places. The reviews were good. Not a suprise to mamacita and I because we have been to Aji.

I like a good bloody mary and they make a really good one at Aji but not enough horse radish for my taste so I just ask them to bring some horse radish to the table so I can add some to suit my taste. They accomodate me with grace.
  • Who went to Aji last night?
  • I was there on Thursday night but no Brooklynian people introduced themselves. Perhaps our group was not represented. Too bad but there will be other times.
