This Fouth of July. — Brooklynian

This Fouth of July.

First I want to wish all who read these words a very happy and safe holiday.
IN this Great Country, the United States of America, this day represents the birth of a new nation, free from tyranny and taxation of a monarchistic society.

This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Unfortunately I fear we must add 'and ignorant' to that motto. We have become a nation of people who have allowed our Constitution to be "hijacked" and diluted from the original founding fathers intent and wisdom.

I ask of all who read this to take some time out his weekend to use this very tool. The computer and internet. Ask of it some of the questions of things you hear but your wisdom will not allow to conceptualize. I am asking you to, as this weekend is about, freedom. Remove the walls, open the gates, open the doors, if only for a moment and allow your mind to seek out what you would other wise consider taboo. Look at the conspiracy that abounds about our political climate, monetary systems, social systems, organized religion, creationism, evolution, extraterrestrial, missing children, federal reserve, the 'god' particle, history, anything to as simple as why does it now cost 20¢ per text message, what does gas cost so much (hint wall street not oil fields). How did Fox News kill Bear Stern? Did we really go to the moon?

Use this tool of the internet to find these things you ponder about before the resource is gone. Not the way you know it now. (net neutrality)

This is a great country, but if we the people don't switch off the TVs and wake up, it will all be for naught.

15 minutes of your time is all I ask. On any topic you wish, with a truly open mind to think, with reason of what you find to be false. You may be surprised.

To close, again, enjoy the holiday, be safe and enjoy the 'freedom'.
