Cat Rescue in Bed Stuy needs Your Help. Pls. adopt!

Calling on CAT lovers!

My name is Jenny and I got priced out of Park Slope over one year ago. I now reside in Bed Stuy. I cannot believe the number of stray and unwated cats / kittens here. Terrible things happen to many of them, ie, starvation, poisoning, getting run over, thrown in with vicious dogs, etc.

I have begun a small rescue operation here I call Ghetta-Kitty Rescue. I now have 12 cats / kittens, 7 of which need homes by mid-August as I am leaving the country for one year.

I also live in Bed Stuy and find it hard to bear seeing all of the strays. I've rescued and found homes for 4 strays over the past year, but there are many more out there that need help. Way to go for taking action and organizing your own rescue! I hope those cuties find homes soon.

There's a kitten and mom that hang out in the flower garden in front of my brownstone. The kitten doesn't seem too fearful... at least not as skittish as the mom (probably b/c my neighbor feeds them). So if you want to come and get her/him let me know and I'll give you the address.
