Crash course in songwriting for Brooklyn girls 8 to 18

Spaces are still open in a 5-day SONGWRITING WORKSHOP happening NEXT WEEK, August 4th - 8th, Monday through Friday, 4:00 - 6:00pm at The Storefront, a new community arts center in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

Open to girls ages 8 to 18 with or without music experience, the workshop is all about empowering girls to express themselves through writing songs.

The workshop will be taught by an awarding-winning pop/rock songwriter with 14+ years experience singing, songwriting, playing guitar and rocking out!

By the end of the week, each girl will have written her own song and have the opportunity to have it performed at a free open-to-the-public show on Saturday afternoon, August 9th.
