I'm playing on January 1 with my West African brethren. We're going to be at Dakar restaurant in Clinton Hill, and it will be relaxed evening with great music and tasty food, served leisurely. But also it will be the birthday of Famoro Dioubate, the bandleader of our group Kakande, so it'll be a special night.
