huh. I quit reading the nation after awhile - kinda got sick of the preaching to the choir, really. nasty of me to say, but really it's easy journalism. I'm glad she's saying these things, I just wish she wrote for the post, or the nytimes - something with a wider readership where in your face liberalism would spring from the page slightly more than, well, the nation. for now, my only expensive subscription will remain the economist.

although I really did love the new york review of books. but I worked two 3 month trials to nap and/or read through a few years ago which is why I could both afford it and actually read it.
