yes. BG went to report the car as stolen, and the police came.

they called some secret police number and found it had indeed been towed (still not in the system). they gave him a special number to call. he called there (sheriff? marshall? i don't remember) and they don't have a record of it. they sent him elsewhere, no record.

not quite sure what he's going to do.

What? It had really been towed? but, it wasn't (and still isn't) showing up as towed?

At this point, can he still report it as stolen? If there's no trace of it in the system, no one can find it - its obviously stolen. No?

no, i don't think so. because when the police came they were able tocalll a #,a secret police #, and find it. so i think he has tocall the popo again and go from there.
