Curious Developments?

Does anyone know what is happening in the lot on Nostrand between Greene and Lexington?
They seem to be destroying things (like glass, etc) early in the morning every day, but I'm not sure why or what for... There is also at least one giant dog that lives there. (I wish it was more like the Sandlot, but no such luck.)

I'm also wondering what's going on with the lot on Nostrand and Clifton.
Any updates would be welcome!
