Knit Your Ass Off in the new Year!
Hello Yarn People,
Too wet to Knit? Never! Bring out your wool in 2006 and make something for Valetines Day. Nothing spells love like a red hat. Actually I've been asked by Craft yarn Council if any of our groups want to make granny squares for the Afghans for Afghanistan. YES, it's real, and they have a web site.

Knit at Maha's:
The Men's Forum? Not strictly. Every Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:30pm. 69 sixth Avenue (718)
Try the home made chicken soup with zatar bread!
Knit In at Freddy's: Saturday, January 7, 2006
http://www.freddysbackroom.com
5:00 - 8:00 The Knit In: Sit. Knit. Hook. Stitch. Bitch. Unwind. Men are encouraged, crocheters are welcomed. Seriously, please don't bring the children, its a bar.
Stick around for the Catalyst Art Opening with Shark Attack: Hullabaloo 2006 a night of portrait photography from two Brooklyn natives, Tamara Porras and Sean Gamboa. (8:00 –11:00) Also check out The Cavemen Go, a quartet from New Haven, CT who play smart, rueful garage pop with a tiny bit of twang. (11:30)
