Baby Needs a New Foster Home!!

BABY is a male brown tabby cat that deserves a loving, caring home. And right now, we DESPERATELY need a new foster home for him! Mutts & Mitts, our rescue, moved him off the streets and into a great foster home. But as it turns out, the foster mom is no longer able to foster him as her landlord has changed his mind about her having pets. It is a tough situation for Baby and us because he was on the streets for a few years and only in the last two weeks was acclimating to being indoors. The woman who was feeding him during his years outdoors named him Baby because as soon as she came to feed him everyday, he’d get so excited that he cried in recognition of her voice. Baby is about 3-4 years old and has gorgeous green eyes. Evidently he was dropped a few years ago and was surviving inside abandoned cars until we rescued him. Ultimately, Baby needs a real home but for now he just needs someone who could be patient with him getting comfortable with people.

Baby’s foster mom tells us that he has stopped crying at night (a sign that he has relaxed), he is eating well and completely litter box trained, and he comes out to the room she is in and hangs out under the couch or in the window sill. He can be shy towards people because he has been out in the rough for a while, but as soon as he gets to know you best as he did with the woman who used to feed him outside, he’ll let you rub and pet him on the face, chin and back! He was so obviously lonely so that’s why we pulled him into a home but he does need a chance to blossom. Patience and unconditional love will give him the opportunity to give back affection easily.

Baby has been neutered, tested negative for FELV & FIV, and received a good vet report. Please give him a chance so he does not have to go back to the streets....
