all the time! though I've mellowed out in recent years and havent jumped on the parkway in a long time. I had a good run in the 90's, and think I had good times and lots of good luck.

I was in east flatbush yesterday visiting my mom. she has a neighbor who brings out his sound system every holiday (much to her annoyance!), and he was playing some serious studio one, barrington levy, dennis brown, burning spear, etc. was just chilling on the porch bobbing my head :0) -

Yeah thats the local vibes I was talking about. There was a soca jam on Fulton yesterday too whole block closed down. A nice amount of people not too many though. Free drinks at the record store. All the niceness. Troupes rehearsing today. Block parties all over. Parkway just too many damn people at this point and I too damn old....

I actually made it to the parkway for a cameo! Very crowded, as usual. But I had a good time with some friends just off the beaten path. Good food, a few drinks, familiar faces - a nice ol time!
