ralphDebbie, good luck tomorrow, not to worry, I know easy for me to say, I been there, have trust in your doctor, all your friends will be waiting for you with open arms. -
karendrittoWow, I've been away for a while and am trying to catch up.
First, Terry - if Jon has that virus it just has to run it's course - it's horrible. I had it for 4 days. If he can't drink, don't worry I couldn't either, kept brushing my teeth. He'll be fine.
Loretta - I'm glad to see you on here. I head from Eileen Giordano - remember her. She found me on Facebook.
Debbie - good luck to you. You will be fine. Yes, please have Karen or Gina or Donna or Vinny or Nicky drop a note so we'll know how you are. You're in my prayers!! God speed girlfriend.
Fran - good luck with your move. at least you won't have to deal with the snow. I'm tired of it already. I guess I'll have to make a visit to Florida to visit all my friends and family.
Anthony - I don't know what happened (been missing about a week), but I am really glad you came back. Just remember one thing, ignorance is not contagious.
Joe - sorry to hear about your job. Good luck and you'll find something even better than what you had.
Hi Janet, Judy, Suzie (how was your bd?), happy belated bd to Carol and hi to anyone else on that I missed.
300 tv channels and nothing to watch. I'm watching the kid's inaugural on disney. I'm looking forward to a change - I hope he's able to fulfill at least one of his campaign promises.
Back to work tomorrow - hopefully I'll be able to check in. -
debbie bonavita mccarthyThanks Ralph can't wait to have all this behind me. -
suzieThis is for you .... St Michael
As you all may know ....My Brother's name is Michael ....Ive been carrying around a St. Michael Medal
with me since he died. When Ida was going in for her operation on her head .....I gave my medal to her ...
to hold till she gets
home from the operation. Well low and behold ....Ida had to have another operation soon after for
her heart ....
and she asked if she can hold onto the medal. Of course, I said yes! Then Vinny was going
to Vegas and I called Ida and asked if I could pick up the medal cause Vinny is leaving on the plane ....again!
She said, Suzie Im afraid to give it back ....I feel that something might happen to me if I dont have it in
St Anthony's hand. I was about to cry. But, the next day ...I was walking in a parking lot on Amboy Road
by Armstrong outside of the Bank ....and I kicked something ....I thought I dropped something.....I looked down ...
and this St Michael medal was shining on the ground....
although it has skid marks across the top of it ....who cares .....it replaced my medal to Ida. Vinny left that night
with this St Michael medal.
Vinny just cleaned out his suitcase
from the Cruise and handed it to me just now....and Im giving it to you for tomorrow....so if you can print it out .....
I love ya ...
and I cant wait for this to be over with! -
debbie bonavita mccarthyThanks Karen, someone Karen will probably stop by the blog tomorrow and fill you guys in. -
debbie bonavita mccarthyI meant Karen will come on tomorrow. -
debbie bonavita mccarthySuzie, thanks so much for that. It will help to have all my friends prayers, well wishes, medals and angels with me tomorrow. I love all of you and hope to be back here soon.......Debbie -
loretta napoliGood Luck Debbie - you are in all of our prayers.
Terry - fluids are good & necessary, but if he is still vomiting, better not to give him any, he will only lose that & more if it makes him throw up. Better to wait until he hasn't vomited for an hour or so. You might then want to try some ice chips (or frozen gingerale ice cubes), so his stomach, which is very irritated right now isn't overwhelmed. Hope he feels better soon - nothing's worse than a sick child - no matter what the age. -
suzieYour gonna be just fine...and your gonna fight no matter what....to get home to your kids ....and get this all behind you!
stay tough.... and you can also say ...bring this shit on.... !!! Sorry Bklyn slang.....
-
suzieHi Karen and Loretta ..... -
suzieHey RT ...how the hell are ya???? -
ralphHey Suzanne, doing ok, tired of pushing snow, cleaning cars, etc how r u doing. -
loretta napoliHi Suzie - My brother & my son are named Michael.
Hi Karen, how are you? I remember Eileen - didn't she live on 20th St? Do you have any idea whatever happened to Linda Perez - I remember that she was a little petite thing with a beautiful voice - she sang "A your Adorable at the St. John's talent show. Can't believe that I remember this stuff, but not what I ate for supper yesterday.
Just had on the Weather channel - they said N.C. could get 6-10 inches of snow - get out your shovel Janet!! -
suzieI hear ya ...Ralphie.....I lucked out the last few days ....my neighbors did it for me..thinking Im sick! Maybe I should keep pretending until we get the big one! LOL -
karendrittoHi Suzie - see you made it thru your bd!
I agree with Ralph. I can't stand the snow anymore. I wish it'd snow enough to close things down and then not snow anymore. This 1" here, 2" there is soooo annoying. I never liked the heat, but man, the older I get the better Arizona, Florida, preferraby, Hawaii, are looking! Not going to happen for the at least 15 more years. -
ralphCarol, happy belated Birthday. -
suzieLOL...Karen ....I had palpitations till that day was over !!!!! -
karendrittoHi Loretta. No, unfortunately I don't know what happened to Linda Perez. I remember that she sang that song too. I'm with you, can't remember what I ate (mind you, I ALWAYS remember to eat!) but can remember the stuff like that. My cousin always says it's amazing the capacity for shit (sorry!) your brain can hold! Yes, Eileen lived on 20th St. She lives out in Suffolk County for the past 30yrs. (Can't remember which town but it's like exit 61 on the LIE). Where do you live? -
anthony umbriaDEBBIE HI SWEETIE
ILL BE WHATING FOR YOU TO COME HOME
WE ARE ALL WITH YOU THERE SO DONT YOU WORRY ABOUT A THING
AND IF YOU ARE SCARED TELL THEM YOU KNOW ME LOL -
loretta napoliI'm in Massapequa Park. You're right about one thing - I never forget to eat either (damn!) -
ralphKaren, Arizona is where everyone is flocking to lol . Have three friends from job brough property there and building homes.
Suize, if my neighbor was acting sick, for me to shovel her property, my 9 inch snow thrower will be directed to her property the very next time it snowed lol , remember they could be reading this blog lmao -
suzieLOL....Ralph... everytime I got dressed to go out there ...it was done ...but we have that buddy thing going on.....mind you my neighbor is a Firefighter.....he's been shoveling my 2 inches.....I got a feeling Im gonna have to shovel his when its 6 inches !!!! -
ralphopps, 9 horse power with 24 inch wide shovel, we all know 9 inchs is hardly enough to do anything. Let me remind all talking about snow removal lmao -
