Janet - my brother Joe spoke to my mom tonight. He said they got 3 inches of snow - he drives a cab - says people really not used to driving in it -

Hi Everybody,

Does anyone have a reliable dog sitter or wonderful kennel? I hate leaving the dogs behind, but taking them on this last trip to Florida was stressful: they get impatient and whiney, testy and short tempered. On the drives down and up we could only get take out food and eat it with plastic knives and forks on a tiny desk provided in the room reserved for animals and therefore filled with the smell and dander of who knows how many dogs? Whenever one of us leaves the car to get something in a store, the dogs start scratching the windows and screaming. Very poorly behaved and overly-dependent with strong separation anxiety. So no more of them on the vacations.

Please someone let me know if you have excellent people or an excellent place. I would really appreciate it.

I am up on the damn mountain and no snow has melted. It snowed more last night to add another inch or two, the neighbor left her car in the road, and I have to be in court for my comp case this am.

YIKES.....I HEARD ON THE NEWS,SOME PLACES GOT 6 IN. OF SNOW

It is only supposed to go up to 21 degrees, and the incline on the road is very steep. I may have to walk down and hope for a ride to Asheville or freeze to death.
