....AS A MUSICIAN,I THINK THE 60'S ALSO INSPIRED MORE KIDS TO PICK
UP AN INSTRAMENT AND LEARN TO PLAY.....ALTHOUGH,IT'S WAS MOSTLY GUITARS.........BUT DRUM SALES DID SPIKE A BIT IN THE 60'S AFTER RINGO AND THE BEATLES PLAYED ON ED SULLIVAN SHOW.....IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TIME THE DRUMMER WAS SCENE UP FRONT AND ON A RISER........KIDS LIKE ME TOOK NOTICE......
....MY DAD WOULD TELL ME WHEN I WAS A SMALL KID,I WOULD BANG ON THINGS ALL THE TIME.....POTS,PANS....THEN I MOVED UP TO METAL GARBAGE PAIL LIDS(REMEMBER THEM).....MAILBOXES AND THE LAMP POST ON THE CORNER WHERE I LIVED.....SO IT WAS A NATURAL THING FOR ME TO PLAY DRUMS....
