I've been playing darts down here for the last 24 years. we take turns at each others house and whoever is the host supplies the beer and chips. We have rules like we make sure that we arre out of the house by 12 midnight. We collect dues and once a year have a dinner with the wives along with other stuff we do with the dues. Its a lot of fun.

2009 REUNION SURVEY UPDATE:

I just wanted to give you an update on how the "2009 Reunion Survey" is going. As of today, the votes are as follows:

108 - Replied "YES" and voted for the following:

59 - Prospect Hall Open Bar
27 - Prospect Hall Cash Bar
12 - Staten Island Yacht Club

45 - People Have Not Responded Just Yet

We're still hoping to find a big enough VFW Post or Knights of Columbus so we can cater our own food and keep the cost low. Karen Dritto is working on that. I have 180 people on our mailing list. It has grown alot from last year.

2009 Park Slope Reunion Committee

Hi everyone!

I know I don't post much but I just read Chrissy's post about the reunion and possible locations.

Next weekend I'm going to a Sweet 16 at a Knights of Columbus on Hillside Terrace, in Staten Island. I will get the particulars, how large the room is, fee for room, etc.

I'll let everyone know - this may be good because I know you can bring in your own food.

There is a medical distinction. We've all heard about people having guts or balls, but do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definitions are listed below:

GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the boys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: ''Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?''

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the boys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the arse and having the balls to say: ''You're next, fatty.''

I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions.

Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome, since both ultimately result in death.
