Lynjoy - the house does look the same. I remember that at one time there were like 60 kids living in all of those apartments between 19 & 20 street - there was always someone around to play with!

I haven't seen her in quite a few years. I know that she has one grown daughter & still lives in Brooklyn.I know that she was married to Joe(?) Romano, but they've been divorced for years.

Fran & Juan are close friends of my family & I see Fran often. Their Mom just got out of the hospital recently-heart problems.

Tim - I think that your brother Bill sees Fran & Juan from time to time.

Yes He does, he and Juan still pal around together. I saw fran and Juan last year at the hospital visiting billy

I remember that in the summer you went out in the morning, had a little lunch & went back out until supper & then back out until you got dragged in to go to bed...there were never enough hours in the day.

One of my friends was an OR nurse. There was a surgeon who very often screwed up. He had a wonderful bedside manner & would tell his patients that they almost died but he saved them. Of course, he never told them that he almost killed them first LOL

Terry - Now I know what you are talking about when you talk about your son....my son was home for the weekend and him and a friend took the bus back to school this morning....so I figured he had classes most of the day...so around 5:00 I tried to call him, no answer, texted him, no answer, emailed him, no anwer, now I am getting crazy......Now I am thinking, Holy Shit did he ever make it back to school today.....He finally called about 8:00 pm and said he has classes all day on Mondays...this kid is going to kill me.....and the best part is as I am leaving a message for him I am trying not to curse or yell like a lunatic because it is always in the back of my mind that in case God forbid something does happen, my voicemail message will be all over the news.......Crazy Bitch Mom from NJ cursing her poor son out because he did not call her back......lol lol Well Thank God he is back at school and safe and sound......

i also want to send a bithday greeting to your dad in heaven for he took the time to give me some good advice in sept.1948, iwas on leave from the air force and i met mike on 5th.ave i had just finished basic training and we discussed what field i was going into i had choices of administration milatary police,or electronics but wasnt quite sure .i will never forget him telling me definately electronics it was the field of the future. to make a long story short, at age 17 i took his advice and spent 2yrs of my 4yrs in the air force going to air force schools' after my disgharge i went to acollege in massachusetts working to an engineering
degree worked for a mass. electronic co.for 5 yrs and then with 2 other partners started york electronics in march 1958 ended up in vermont then we moved our business in july 1976 and retired in 2004 enjoyed a good life
and never forgot your dads words so happy birthday mike you are in my prayers terry i can go on and on i was closer in age to your uncle augie
but i dont have to tell you what a kind and considerate person he was
