As for the 17 y/o, time really does fly!! I always felt like my kids were ready for the next stage before I was..my kids have dragged me kicking & screaming into their adulthoods!!

I'm not ready and I don't think I ever will be!!! Boy it gets so much harder as they get older. We're dealing with boyfriends now!!!! Scary!!

Samantha will be 13 in May, 3 teenagers, I'm not ready for this!!!

When a girl is loved well by her father, she will naturally seek out boys/men who will treat her with respect. But, you do need to watch out for the inevitable "bad boy" who's just sooo hot! LOL

LOL I'll keep and eye out!! My brothers are constantly questioning her about boys!! Just like my dad. They scare her more than her father. LOL
