janet m horanI will be there soon. Hopefully. -
francescaJANET --
We went on "Home Tours" sponsored by the Venice Area Garden Club
(yikes, sounds so.........)
Anyhow - five people open their homes for tours... Very unique.
Of course I love my home until I see these. All look professionally
decorated, everything just clicks.
Anyhow - my point - one house we viewed this morning was on a
five acre farm and they raised Alpacas. They had 13. What great
animals. What a dream - a house with land, a farm with animals,
and they were probably 20 minutes from the beach. What I loved most
was that in this fancy bedroom, they had dog water bowls and
doggie baskets with toys. People like us! -

paul giglioFranny, is your pool inside?
I ask because I always find it funny at our friends house in Punta Gorda,
you walk in the front door and your still outside, lol...but it sure is beautiful -
francescaDo you know what you are doing yet? Re Florida? -
francescaSomething weird going on here.. Maybe a new page??
Or maybe the many glasses of wine I just had.. -
francescaOh -- it was the new page -

janet m horanI actually get down in the lip at the end of the summer when the kids have to go back to school. Wahhhhhhhhhhh. LOL -
paul giglioHow far to the beach from you Franny? -
janet m horanFranny, step away from that wine, LOL -
francescaOh Paul - you probably go through a courtyard.
Beautiful..
Our pool is outside... Ask Faith... :-) -
francescaPATSY - YOU WERE ON 20TH STREET...
Did you see my house?
My mom would wash the stoop and sidewalk with a broom
and mop... My inside house should be so clean.. Hi Mom...
Miss and Love You!!!! But I'll never consciously be the
housewife that you were... xxxx -
francescaJanet - I stopped drinking before we left our friend's house. She is very
close ride. Someone else was actually riding a bike home... I just can't go right to bed... I am a transition woman.... Frank walks in and goes
right to bed. I have to do 10 things, get wired, then I can't sleep. -
paul giglioI bought a book on " how to clean everything " I should have just remembered what my mother said " Hot water, Brown soap, Keep scrubing " LOL -
janet m horanIs Faith still taking an occasional dip in the pool ?? -
paul giglioThe children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples." -

Let's say - if there is a Tsunami - pray for me. It's an island. Water
all around us.. To the beach 1/2 mile. 2 Minute ride by car - too far
to walk if you have to carry beach chairs, etc. Nice "excercise walk"
(I'd imagine - haven't tried yet).
There is a public beach with parking - so it's nice.. But what is even nicer
is we have friends who own a condo on beach and they live in NJ mostly.
So I get to go to park at their condo (also 1/2 mile away) and it's private
beach.
Haven't really had any beach days.... NOT YET... -
janet m horanSoon Franny. Are you a beach person? I like the beach but not the water. I am a pool person. -
francescaI love the house picture they are showing above,
It reminds me of Brooklyn so much LOL
Being here - not only do I miss Brooklyn - I now
have to miss New Jersey... Florida is beautiful..
But................ Not.......... -
paul giglioBRB, gotta make some espresso -
francescaPaul - how if family and Ellen and grandchildren?
Glad no drama or emergency rooms lately. -
janet m horanEspresso at night??? Wow, Paul will be wired !! -
paul giglioIt sounds really beautiful Franny, I've been to a few of the beaches along Florida's west coast, mostly late in the day, great being on the beach at sunset. -
francescaJanet - I love the beach. It is therapy... I love the water... (not a
boat person)
I always knew I'd end up near a beach someday.
I have to be careful cause I am predisposed (is that right way to say?) to basil cell carcinoma..
Damage started years ago from Brighten Beach and Coney Island
with the sun visor and baby oil.... I've had major reconstruction
done. So while my body tans - I keep my face covered totally
(which i'm learning is hard down here). -
janet m horanThe thing I miss about New Jersey is Woodbridge Mall, lol. My favorite and believe me, I am not a mall person. Jersey used to have quite a few attractions that we went to, like Action Park. -

janet m horanNow they have all kinds of lotions with a high SPF ??? Is that correct ?? Even makeup. -
janet m horanNever touch the stuff Paul.
