Yes Paul - It is very beautiful here. I am blessed and pinch myself
everyday. I've never said "why me?" when my life sucked - but
sometimes now I say "why me?" that I am lucky to have survived
my life and be where I am today.......

I will probably need dozens of medicines someday because I don't take any now and don't even take aspirin. I tried an alleve a few times and even an advil. Basically, I am anti pills, lol. And I must have a high pain tolerance.

Oh I loved NJ.... It was beautiful where I lived.
More deer than people... I do look at pictures
of my 'old' house - it is bittersweet. And what's
funny is I miss the A&P produce lady, and my
UPS lady, and the deli I'd go to every morning.

That's what was important to me....

But, I do have a constant ringing (?) in my ears. Sounds like white noise. I had it once when I took 2 aspirin because I wasn't used to aspirin, and I think it is the same kind of sound. This has been going on for weeks now???

Someone told me that it's either an inner ear infection or a brain tumor, lol. How comforting is that !!!

I would be tempted to take pain relievers for my shoulder and my knees, but I can't seem to tolerate them. Vicodan made me extremely irritable and shaky.

So, I just try to ignore the shoulder pain and watch how I move the arm.

    Janet -
ringing in the ears means something?
Not sure right now,,, but I recall.

I'm sure you've done a google search on it.

Yes, the chemo worked..... Pray it did - everyday.
(Found a new oncologist down here and see him
4/1). They say chemo works better if you are
    heavy (weight wise)... Great...

What are you going to do about your inner ear
    (don't think brain tumor, please!!!)

Nah, I think he looks like his mothers side.

I was reluctant to do the facebook thing, seemed like a big commitment, but as usual my kids reminded me to not take this stuff to seriously, so I'm working on photo's .

Funny, I spoke to Peter today cause my sister called missing all of us, so we're going in to Brooklyn next Sunday for dinner.

I will have to google it again. Want to laugh? I asked the doctor doing the colonoscopy about it the other day, lol. He must have thought I was nuts. He said, well it's not my field, lol.

Janet - aches and pains... We have to attribute to our age...
    And not think the worst.

You need to do/take something more 'natural' not Vicodan.

I wanted to say to him, but I thought all doctors knew everything. I didn't though because he could have paid me back big time !!!!!!!!!!

When I had the 1st shoulder surgery, they must have given me morphine because I was so irate that my husband got me coffee and high tailed it right out of there, lol. The 2nd surgery they asked me and I said hell no.

I guess I can believe the doctor responded that way....

You know, I meant to mention that when we had our colonoscopies
we did not have go through what you and Joe did. We took
Duclax (sp?) and drank that little bottle of some lemon/lime stuff
(can't think of it's name right now). It was easy. Well easier.
