I had tuna that is packed in water also, but with Mayo. I do like the Progresso Tuna in Olive Oil, but can't get it here.
-
suzie and janet speaking of tuna try it with olive oil, lemon, lettuce AND BLACK PEPPER ON TOASTED RYE BREAD. DELICIOUS

hola: I see everyone's been real busy becoming computer literate.
Franny Bruno: Happy birthday to you and i pray that you have many more happy and healthy birthdays. And on that note i want to thank you again for your donation to the 17 Street Cancer Crusade. We collected 5300 hundred dollars. This month was men's month in my church and the men had a Prostate Walk and they collected and donated $25,000 to be used for Research only. That was a tremendous day.
Debbie Bonavita: i don't like to comment too much on food, because people feel that i am strange when it comes to my eating habits, but my doctor just recommended 2 books to read they are both by Robert Cohen, he is a Scienctists. You see i am concerned about my granddaughter and her milk consumption. This information may be too strong for some, but it's the truth. The books are A to Z of Milk and the one i am reading now it's Milk the Deadly Poison. Debbie ear infections, mucus, colds, and Cancer are a result of drinking milk, the milk being consumed now is the the same milk we were raise on. Debbie i would strongly urge you if you are going to drink milk, buy either Organic or Farmland. Farmland milk has made an agreement not to use milk from treated cows, the cows are Genetically Modified (GM0) treated with what they call rBST (deadly hormones) Milk the Deadly Poison is a very very informative book. I won't go on any more because i am sure i am blowing someones bubble. But Debbie for your sake and the sake of your children consider a substitute, find yourself a good doctor who is also a nutritionists, if you don't want to buy the book go to the Library.
Terry: I am sure the cruise was bitter sweet, but i am sure it was nice getting to know your family. Donnie was special to many of us. Terry Marie is in my prayers.
Christine O: That tribute to Donnie was great. thanks for sharing that with us.
Geraldine Oliva: Woman call me, Christine has my # and my email get it from her.
Denise and Lisa: If you are reading this blog, i want to let you know that every time i think of either one of you i pray for your families. My sister Lilly sends her condolences.
well i think i said too much.
Adios: until the next time
blessings to all of u
p.s. Suzie: i like what you have written under your name: Don't wait for tomorrow to say ... I Love you. (that says a lot of good stuff about you)

Thanking you from the bottom of my heart for your sincere thoughts.
Love to all Ralph S.
Please note my E-mail address for all those who have an AOL account is as follows: [email protected] and also I still have [email protected] -
Hey Franny, Happy Birhtday you most beautiful woman you. I think the guys in Brooklyn should look out tonight.
I Love you and I miss you so much, this world needs more people like you in it... -
Hey Ma, yes in fact I did have an egg fight. I have a neighbor I can't stand and I am tired of his yuppie shit. Bastard is trying to keep up with everyone on the block. I 'm just waiting for him to go broke and get foreclosed on so I can buy the son-of a - bitches house and rent it out.
Anyway, I decided it was time to give him a good old fashioned kiss my you know what.So I got a fresh dozen eggs and I christened the front of his house and put shaving cream all over the friggin car. I know IMMATURE! But it felt good, funny part was he caught me doing it. He's yelling, I'm laughing at him so his wife comes out and she starts yelling at him telling him he deserves it for being the jerk of the block...
But you know me...like a good neighbor, I went over this morning with my power washer and cleaned it up. He apologised for being a crummy neighbor and we laughed and had a beer...It's all good.
Tonight the guy that lives in the other side of him is getting him as well...while I have him over at my house...I can't wait to see his face.
Some times you just don't grow up... -
Hola: Hi Ralph and Rosa:
I am glad to see you on; it's been a while since i wrote something my self. I am so glad that i went to the reunion and had the opportunity to spend some time with donnie and of course you and to be able to meet Rosa. You must be proud of yourself, you were a good brother to donnie; you're the best.
Tony and Mary came home from China Monday, and i gave him the news. He was dissapointed that he didn't get to speak to donnie, i did tell him about the picture, i will not mail it for fear that it will get lost. I will forward my sister Mary your E-mail. Tony does not get on the computer at all, but maybe through Mary he will communicate with you. I will probably see them within the next 2 weeks.
Rosa: wassup? This is for you Rosa: THERE IS A ROSE IN SPANISH HARLEM. (Remember the song?) It was nice seeing you again, although we didn't get to speak much; it's always nice to know that you are there with Ralphie supporting him.
Suzie: In answer to your Bendicion; que Dios te vendega. I don't recall any of your friends names, but you must remember i am a bit older than you.
As i mentioned in the other blog, my mother was a matron in the Red Hook Pool and at times in Sunset Pool, that was her summer job. We went to Red Hook often because 1) my moms worked there, and 2) it was not as crowded. When i wanted to escape my moms watchful eye i would go to Sunset Park Pool.
MEMORIES: Does anyone remember when the nurses in the Methodist Hospital's Nursing Program lived in their dorms which was located on 8th avenue around the area where they now have a cafeteria? They wore caps and white uniforms?
I was speaking to a friend of mine and he mentioned when we, as kids, would ride your bike you would put a playing card in between the spokes and it would sound like motor.
Hi Old Goat (Warren): You mentioned a while back of an ice parlor on 9th street across the street from the park, after the ice cream parlor there was a restaurant and now it's condos. (Just a neighborhood update)
i don't know if any of your parents every talked about or ever went down to Union Street shopping. They had push carts, every thing was sold from push carts; i am talking lets see, I'm 62 about 55 years ago. That is where Polly-O originated. There was a pizza parlor there on Union bet. Columbia and Hicks, they had the best pizza ever. Union street was a very exciting place to be on a Saturday. The vendors were mainly Jewish and Italian. That is where i purchased my first garter belt and nylons. Carol Riches, if you are reading this blog i know you and Pinky know Union Street. WOW does anyone remember garter belts and nylons with the seams? Years later it was a very sexy thing to wear. -
Franny La Greca: I thought it was Franny Bruno's birthday. Happy Birthday to you and many many more. We sing it like this:
Happy birthday to ya
Happy birthday to ya
happy birrrrthhhdaay
happppppppyyyyyyy birrrthhdaaayy
happppppppyyyyyyy birrrrthdaaayy
happppppyyyyyyyy birthhhddaayy

Hola Linda:
I have been a bit busy, with different activities and babysitting. I love to read, so i spend whatever free time i have reading, as you can tell tonight i am not reading. You didn't miss me enough to call me. what i said about your parents was the truth, your parents were one in a million. When the shit hit the fan your mother had my back, i loved that little lady she will always have a special place in my heart. Your house was my refuge, and your parents always took me in and hid me. they were the best, that's why their children are the way they are they had good examples. I bet Betty doesn't have to go to Long Island now, (Private Joke)
Linda we should have a little gathering, and we all bring a dish, (with food on it, ha ha) i will make rice and beans just for you. I'll make brown rice for me. I no longer eat white rice, maybe some weekend when Elizabeth and Alan come in.
You said earlier that you married the best guy, i agree with you. John is the best, you picked a good one and he picked a good one as well.
I love your tinker bell, Victoria Rose looooveeesss Tinker Bell.
Give my love to your children, sisters and brothers.
My Irish Family
Hi Janet: Nice that you welcomed me back: Excuse my ignorance, but where do you live? I gather that you live on a mountain? I will tell you, one of the sexist men i dated, was 14 years older than me, and he was a Fireman, was he ever sexy Lord have mercy. i will leave the rest to your imagination. This was at least 100 years ago, but i still remember well. All i say is Thank You Jesus. i want to say is that the Firemen/Firewomen/Firepeople are extraordinary human beings, they are truly special people, my hat off to you. Blessings. -
