Hi Festina:

I am so sorry to hear your mother isn't well. That picture of you and her and your family is beautiful. She looks absolutely terrific. What we had to do for my mother during chemo was make more beef. Roast beef was number one because they told us to make her drink the blood that we had after slicing the meat. They said it is great for them. The other is raisins, spinach, because of the iron. I'm sure you know this but sometimes the doctors assume we know everything and they forget to tell us. Keep up a stiff upper lip. Your doing a great job. Your doing all you can. God will take care of the rest. Love....

i too always have your mom on my mind, along with suzies mom, and my mom is always asking about you guys, you can't imagine.
i'm going to make her a big pot of lentil soup so she could get the iron at least..then follow donna's diet.
