Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

It is so dark outside. Hopefully rain is coming. Not for me, but they have huge fires burning in Cherokee, NC and it has been going on for 5 days now, and it needs to be stopped. It is about 1 1/2 hours from here. They have a Harrah's Casino there.

They got control of the fires in Myrtle Beach, so I hear.

Ugh, from what they just said on the news, we are going to have rain for 6 out if the next 7 days. Well, I guess it's better than none. Too dry here, and that's why they are having so many fires.

It's rainy here today.

That will make me want to sleep all day, lol.

I wonder where Patsy is this am. Guess she will pop on once she gets to work with her bagel and coffee.

When I got home i felt horrible, probably just tired. I put the covers over me and watched Oprah and got up to cook and before u know it I was in bed. I got up late today and had to rush and be ready for my ride to Bklyn. I did caLLTHE ELKS CLUB MYSELF TOO SMALL FOR US ,SMALLER THAN THE YACHT CLUB. I CALLED A FEW PLACES. TOO SMALL. ONLY HOLDS 120

I can not believe Edith Ann is gone 25 years. Where did the time go. I was just 16 yesterday.LOL
I just said that this morning Janet....wishing for the warm weather and the summer is almost here and I do not want it to go fast even though I want to see everyone in September.

Good morning everyone: Thanks so much for your prayers and good wishes for my sister. She is doing remarkably well. I'll see her Sunday. Terry, whenever you get Karen and Margaret together I would love to join in. I had such a nice time with them a few weeks back. Wishing all of you a happy and healthy weekend.
