Re John Edwards
I am astonished sometimes on what he says-- and at one point I was so
hooked on him. Some of the scenarios have to be real..... And some
we may question... But draw your own conclusions on this one:

My sister and I had an opportunity to be part of "the gallery" once and
we never were able to plan the trip to Long Island... However, her
nephew won a 'lunch w/John Edward' in NYC and he gave it to my sis,
and I went with her. It was a contest on WPLJ that he won.. When
he realized he won, he disguised his voice and said he was Phyll Scotto
(Knowing my sister would want to go; her husband had just passed a
few years before).

So we went to lunch w/John Edwards at the China Club - NYC - very nice.
It was one month after 9/11 - so there were many family members of
victims in this small audience.

It was amazing how he called it for victim's family members; so emotional - and even for one or two who had lost their pets... he connected there too...

What got me - is he kept calling
over our table and saying---- I'm getting a Francesca and a Fillomena.
(ADMIT THOSE ARE NOT TWO COMMON NAMES, NEVER MIND PUTTING
THEM TOGETHER).. I said, We are Francesca and Filomena - he said,
one of his "no, I'm pulled over there" --- so I let it go. One of the
few regrets I have in my lifetime. Where did he get our names???

Some might say they knew my sister's name cause she was 'registered'
yes but under the name of Phyl - not Fillomena..... And where the hell
did he get Francesca from???

I was upset for many months that I let it go with him -- and then I realized
that if my mom and dad, or Phyll's husband Neil were trying to get in touch
with us - they would have 'backed down' because they were very quiet,
non-assertive people. If you watch John's show, you know what I mean.

So I accepted that they were there - and just letting us know they were
with us - in their quiet - unassuming way...


That's my story and I'm sticking to it :-)
