Festina - My son commuted when he went to MU...he majored in Business Finance...a lot good that did him...when he graduated he got a great job at BEAR STERNS....don't you know after 100 freakin years the company goes under....he worked for JP Morgan Chase for a while until they laid him off..he has been out of work for about nine months now...not a very good field to find a job in......

Helen - Try looking on EBAY...I am so hooked on ebay, whatever you are looking for, they have, new, old, whatever...

Terry - I am sending you my money on Tuesday.....

sorry to hear he's out out of work too - u would think with such high degrees and such a good education - he could find something.
unfortunately today - it's not what u know, but who u know. not that this didn't apply when times were better - but more so now.

I promised myself I'd stay out of this, given I've already
expressed my opinion -- but one comment --

Yes - I have also been to a few parties at Ft. Hamilton - it is
beautiful to overlook the bridge, etc. - food was good, service
great (think they are mostly retired or married to service people).
Parking, bathrooms, right off the bridge for Staten Islanders/NJ folks.

It may be a good alternative to Prospect Hall (more reasonable in
price, yet the same amenities).
