thanks for the picture. I might need to borrow it for my picture here
on site.

Hope the 'wedding' went well. I am sorry I could not make it; it would
be great to see you all, especially my Lizzy. I hope the weather held
out.

And I saw Roe's picture. She looks great! I remember going with
Donny, Kathy and Eddie Skibo, Tony Marino, and of course my Ex
up to a bar/restaurant Park Slope West to listen to a band or piano
player. Wasn't that Roe's husband? Do you see Kathy Skibo? I
would love to touch base with her. Wow, I just went too far back
into my past for a Sunday morning.

Love to you, my JOY!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

Wow alot to read from yesterday.....

Was busy all day with my daughter..went to her new apartment in SI....boy she did a wonderful job....I am so proud of her...I think it is the first time I ever heard her say "boy am I tired of cleaning" (I loved it!!!) lol lol I helped her unpack and clean a little....she got her new furniture and the place looks so cozy and pretty..... Well today is the last day with my little baby Vienna, Crystal will be coming today to pick her up and bring her to her new home........ Not going to be an easy day..I can't believe how I love this little dog....

Terry- OMG you must have been going crazy...there were definetly angels around Jonathan...thank God he is ok.....I know that worry takes a toll on your nerves...take it easy!!!

Suzie - That picture of your kids at the Christening was beautiful.....

Hi, Janet, Patsy, Helen, Jeanette, Festina ....have a great day....now I have to do my OWN cleaning....lol lol

I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers, asking GOD to send you
what you need, and the ability to accept that LIFE IS DIFFICULT.

As a matter of fact, those are the beginning words of Peck's book,
"The Road Less Traveled" (perhaps you might want to pick
it up sometime; I recall reading it many years ago, at the beginning
of one of my difficult journies).

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I thought of you all yesterday... and how ALL OF YOU have done such a great job raising beautiful children and grandchildren.
I know it is not easy, nor is any situation, OR family, perfect.. But,

I've read your stories/posts over time, and I've seen your
families' pictures
- and I am proud that you all did so well in
making a contribution to society and for
---------------------------> REPRESENTING OUR HOOD!

So I dedicate this day to all of you - here on the blog, and those
reading behind the scenes
(I know some of who you are, and you
defintely did well with your families TOO)..

HAPPY BLESSED FAMILY DAY -
FOR RAISING GOOD HOOD LEGACIES!

Joe - Wow what can I say...your words yesterday were very inspiring..you must be going through a lot right now....but Joe always remember that this is a great place to talk it out...sometimes just talking about your problems makes you feel much better......you have all our email addressess so if you ever want to talk just email one of us..you know we are all here for you.

As far the anti-depressants, I am also taking them for years....I need to take them for my panic attacks...and I like you, wish I did not have to take them and I tried once or twice to get off them, but its no use, sometimes I cant even stay in the room with people without taking a full blown panic attach....It really sucks that I have to take them to live a normal life, but I came to the conclusion that I NEED them and hopefully one day I can get off them....but I did want to say one thing and I am sure if you are on them you probably know this, but don't try to get off of them on your own....that could be very dangerous..you need to speak to your doctor and get weaned (sp) off of them....well I hope you feel better Joe and always remember we are all here for you.....

Franny - That is a GREAT picture of you up above....use that for your picture on here...all you have to do is make it a little smaller.

You always have such wonderful words for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

hI JUDY

your daughter will do well. I remember how hard it was to leave home.
Actually, at that time, I had my first yorkie - Holly. And when I left home, I had to leave her with my parents, with the guarantee I'd get another one when I settled in. I know you will miss Vienna. Don't they just get under
your skin? Hope MOM continues to do well. Love to you and I can't
wait to see you in person, now that I 'know' you.. And your husband
is cute... I was checking him out at the reunion for my single friend,
but of course my first question was IS HE MARRIED? Who the .... would
want another woman's husband?

(Oh, never mind - there are too many of those hussies around. And
if you are reading, and the shoe fits, tough shit!)

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LOVE AND PEACE I WAS PROFESSING

LOL - AND STILL - tough shit...

Hi Patsy - love to you... always!!!
I'll give Phyll your best; she's coming back down in July.
And of course, I'm going to come up and stay with her
during the reunion. Frank is doing well. Finally, almost
back to himself. Had a few scary weeks here recently,
but thank GOD he's recooping. xxx

and

last week, I TOOK MY LAST 'CANCER' DRUG... So, while
I'm happy about that, it is scary too. Feel like that was
some 'fighting protection' for me. Now let's hope that by
stopping the drug, the pounds will roll off, the hot-flashes
will stop, and my brittle bones will heal... LOL.. I'm awake
and alive for today -- I'LL TAKE IT!

Now Patsy, in your honor - I'm going to have a bagel....
and the Bagel is from Einsteins.

I think Al is from Red Bank where I'd get my Einstein
bagels when I worked down 'South' - and there is one not too
far from here.

We welcome anything that resembles THE NORTH!!!!

Hi Patsy and Franny -

My son is already saying we are getting another dog.....but I don't really want one....I was never one for dogs until Vienna came into my house.....but I will miss her, I don't think I really have the need to replace her with any dog....I will kill my son if he brings another one home...I will for the first time in about 15 years be without a dog and I can finally take down all the gates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I did get to see my mom yesterday, she took me and Crystal out to eat...I felt bad because it wasn't a very long visit, because we got there a little later than planned and I did not want to stay in SI too late...if anyone knows me that would be surprised that I even drove to SI by myself, so I wanted to get home before it got dark...lol lol But my mom looked really good and she is feeling good...that all I ask for.....
• judy giordano banjany
judy giordano banjany

Hi - JUDY LOL... - when I check out men for my single friend Sue,
i first ensure that they come with a large pension (not penis), and
that they love animals... The last two men I checked out for her:
One ended up being 'bi' and the other a priest. We must laugh

P.S Re getting another dog:
They are the best, but so much ..... I laughed re your comment
Judy
about the gates all around the house. After all these years, I'm still tripping over gates. Removed one on Friday night, we had friends here for dinner, and Frasier ended up in the pool. He was a trooper.
Swimming around in the pool. Fortunately, he had on his harness and Frank just lifted him out.

(This little 15 lb. animal, who is blind, deaf, diabetic, lymes-diease
survivor, 2-time bladder stone survivor SUZIE, is such a great
role model for handling life's adversaries. I watch him in amazement
as he learned to navigate and thrive in a new enviornment. Think
'we' can all learn something from watching a helpless animal survive,
learn new coping skills, all without complaint or woof).

I miss Faith terribly, and only recently have opened to the idea or
getting another one in the future (but not now; it's Frasier's chance
to be KING and alpha dog). Then I think of all the constraints and
heartbreak. But would miss all the special love they give (that no
human can). OK... Enough - just think it through... It's a big
responsibility. and no turning back.... and yet another blessing
from GOD!

Oh, by the way - seeing baby pictures of Vienna and Figaro (and Butch) didn't help my maternal yearnings...

ALL, HAVE A GREAT DAY - Love to All!

I probably used up all my blogging space for the rest of the month.
As you know, animals and dogs are my heart - so i got on a roll

Sorry if I bored anyone...

OK --- I am leaving now... I just got this message in an email. Says it all re PETS...

"We do not have to wait for Heaven to be surrounded by hope, love, and joyfulness. It is here on earth and has four legs!"

That's going to be my new quote..

Catch up with you soon.....

Don't want to overstay my 'welcome' and have to go to the grocery
store before the 'early bird special' crowd.

Here is the email:

A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS.........

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.

7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.

9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.

10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

~Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them.

Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters
