MY FATHER-IN-LAW WHO FELL
AGAIN AND BROKE HIS HIP IS
COMING HOME THIS TUESDAY FROM REHAB.

HIS PARKINSON'S SEEMS TO
HAVE GOTTEN WORSE AND
UNFORTUNATELY HE CANNOT NOW LIVE ALONE
MY WIFE AND HER SISTER ARE TRYING TO
FIND A 24 HOUR LIVE-IN AIDE.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ONE OR OF A
RELIABLE AGENCY. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE
WHO DOES THIS AND CAN VOUCHE FOR THEM
PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS I WOULD APPRECIATE
THEM ALSO.

HI DEBBIE..HOW WAS THE BEACH???...MY KIDS ALL WENT TO RIIS PARK THIS PAST MONDAY & LAST MONDAY...THEY HAD A BALL..I HAVE BEEN THERE A FEW TIMES MYSELF, BUT NOT IN A WHILE...DON'T LIKE THE BEACH LIKE WHEN I WAS YOUNGER...HATE THE SAND...

It was beautiful Patsy.....haven't been to the beach in a while either but I had fun. A little sunburned!!!

I know of a good live in but whats the location
I know her for about 15 years she has references...

I used to love going to the beach now with the meds
I take cant stay out in sun to long

RECOVERED AND WAS HOME
5 WEEKS AND FELL AGAIN AND BROKE
HIS HIP.

THIS IS WORSE SINCE HE HAD A HARD
TIME WALKING AS IT WAS.

ALWAYS HOPE FOR THE BEST THOUGH
AND HE'S STILL WITH US.

JIM THAT IS SAD, POOR MAN, ITS TOUGH GETTING OLD, BONES GET BROKEN SO EASY, AND ITS HARD ON THE FAMILY TO. I HOPE YOU FIND A GOOD CARE TAKER.

HAVE YOU THOUGH ABOUT GOING THAT WAY INSTEAD

Hi Guys!!!! Just walked in - Mom had the surgery today...so far so good....the first time we saw her in recovery she was still very groggy and we really couldn't tell how she was, but when we went back at 7:30 she was AWAKE AND DOING GREAT!!! She was talking and making sense and looked really good...the doctors said that they got all of the tumor out and it looked good...she will have to have radiation, we are not sure of all the details yet......she was in a little pain, my sisters and I could only stay in the recovery for about 15 minutes....but she pulled through the surgery so that is the first battle.....now we will see what her recovery brings...she is one strong women, let me tell you...we will just have to take one day at a time...

Guys I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you with all my heart to each and every one of you for all the beautiful words and prayers you have given to me and my family.

Debbie - I just have to say when I read that it was your mother's birthday today, I knew everything was going to be ok....I knew her friend would look over her today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN DIANA BONAVITA and thank you for watching over my mom for us.....

One more thing....when I was in pre op with my mom, after all the doctors came in to check her and her charts...the nurse that was going to be with the doctors came in and when she introduced herself, she said hi I will be your nurse today my name is Josephine...well my mother's mom and mother in law (both my grandmothers) name is Josephine....boy if this wasn't an angel sent from up above......

Its been a long day....thank you all again...I will keep you all posted.

judy thank god ,all went well with the surgery, that they got all the tumor out, that a very good sign, i guess all the angels wrer looking over your mom. now its one day at a time, be strong, you must be so tired, try to get some rest.....take care.
