Mom is hanging in there.....her sugar went soooo low yesterday she almost passed out....good thing Chubby and Annette Perrotta were there and they called the nurse....they are going to lower her insulin dose today....

Hi Everyone:

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Went for an EGP test (not sure of the letters, but it's the tube down the throat) because my digestive system has been way off track. Anyway, dr. said he doesn't see anything terrible (although of course they always take a biopsy). He thinks main reasons for my problems is acid reflux and small hyatel(sp) hernia. He had given me meds for that which help somewhat. Have to watch what I eat and no snacks late at night. (OMG!) And then, of course, the biggie - STOP SMOKING. Last night saw ad for hypnosis tonight at Staten Island Hospital. No charge if they can't hypnotize you. (Otherwise $75) So what can I lose? Tried it years ago and didn't work, but you never know. I have the patch on my dining room table as a backup! (lol) Wish me luck, kids!

Hi guys.....just got in from the doctors.....he said I have bronchitis. Great. I'm still running 101 I'm so cold I'm wearing a sweater, my kids think i'm nuts!!! Anyway, have to reschedule my gyn procedure monday.....not happening he said. I feel so shitty, my whole body aches.

Hi Barbara, ask you doctor to check for food intolerances, I had a problem with digestion and kept a food journal and it turned out to be food intolances, we lose enzymes as we get older!!!!

My mom gave me another name last night from the old neighborhood and now I forgot it, I'll ask her again tonight. My dad was from 29th st. and he had soooo many friends and now I can't remember any except for Richie Spinelli and then there was Vinny (last name starts with a C.) he was killed during the Korean war, very sad.

I have to tell you, I was laughing so hard last night over the 'bug thing,", you guys are toooo funny.

I going crazy!!! I'm freezing.....I'm sweating, I go lay down, then I get restless, I have to get up!!!

Helen.....that's funny because I had bronchitis in Feb. also. He gave me antibiotics, i'm taking advil for the fever and aches and mucinex for the cough. It's the worst being sick in the summer!!!!
