Hi ALL!! I'm a newbie and this site was recommended by the "regular" Brooklynian one as I conveyed to them that I use to live in Park Slope way back in the 60's. I lived on 3rd St. and 8th Ave., down the block from Prospect Park where we go everyday as kids. Places I remember are Al's Candy Store on the corner of 3rd and 7th and Pinos Pizzeria which I still hear is still there. There use to be a Herzogs's Deli that was awesome as well as Ebinger's Bakery on 7th Ave. Anyway, I'm just rambling and reminiscing. I saw the Beatles at Shea Stadium in 65' and was so disappointed to learn they just torn it down. Anyway, hope you don't mind me evesdropping on all of you!! Cheers......Claudia
