HELLO, CAME HOME EARLY, I WAS FREEZING OVER MY SONS HOUSE, STARTED COUGHING AGAIN,WITH THE DAMN AC TO HIGH. NOW I KNOW I GOT THIS COLD FROM THE AC. NOT COUGHING NOW. BECAUSE MY HOUSE IS WARM, OR MAYBE HOT????
SO I TURN THE COMPUTER AND WHAT GREETS ME.

Oh I have to cook. I do not feel like doing anything. Just finished all the reunion list and counting of the money got to start ordering stuff.
Bought the coffee, paper goods, syrup for the egg creams, etc etc.
got to get hot dogs, rolls etc few days before.

i need a secretary!!!

Tomorrow is my daughter Stacey's Birthday. I have been telling everyone she will be 34.... She received our card & we wrote all ove it 34...She called me and said "Mom how old do you think I'm gonna be"... I said 34...... She said guess again! She will be 35!.... How the hell did I lose a year???? I can't stop laughing... She is my only kid!... You would think I would remember her age... lmao... Oh Well, I guess early senility is setting in..... The sharing of marriage...

The old man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.

He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.

He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them ..... As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'

As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them.

This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'

She answered

'THE TEETH.'

Now on a happier note ....I had the best time with these Girls surprising me and showing up at my house last night ....If I only knew ....I would have ran and picked up Debbie, called Festina, Judy, Donna, Karen, Carol R. and anyone else we could find on Staten Island and had a blast!

MAYBE, WHEN IT GETS COOLER WE COULD TAKE TURNS RACING UMBRIA AROUND THE BLOCK IN HIS SCOOTER....IT WOULD BE GREAT EXERCISE... FOR ALL OF US .....LOL

Thanks Suzie, YOU are soooo kind. It's probably only a matter of weeks now, we found out in May when they gave him 4-6 months, the only sign was when he felt weak and passed out so they took him to the hospital for tests. Sorry to hear about your neighbor, maybe the chemo will help him. So sad.

You girls are so lucky to have one another so close!!! All my school friends are still up in NY except for one that just moved to NC, but 3 hrs. away. I jumped on Amtrak and visited her, we had so much fun, she's a Bensonhurst girl living in NC now!!!!!!!!!!

Have to admitt what a wonderful surprise from our Blog ladies , Margie, Mildred, Janet, and Carol gave me yesterday by stopping in, you guys are always welcome. My sister- inlaw was upset when I was giving you guys more attention then other guest, as you seen lmao, j/k. Jealous!
