geriob1Another Silly Joke of the Evening.....
The Navy found they had too many officers and decided to offer an early retirement bonus.
They promised any officer who volunteered for retirement a bonus of $1,000 for every inch measured in a straight line between any two points in their body. The officer volunteering for retirement got to choose what those two points would be.
The first officer who accepted asked that he be measured from the top of his head to the tip of his toes. He was measured at six feet and walked out with a bonus of $72,000.
The second officer who accepted was a little smarter and asked to be measured from the tip of his outstretched hands to his toes. He walked out with $96,000.
The third one was a noncommissioned officer, a grizzly old Chief Petty Officer who, when asked where he would like to be measured replied, "From the tip of my weenie to my testicles."
It was suggested by the pension man that he might want to reconsider, explaining about the nice big checks the previous two Officers had received.
But the old Chief insisted and they decided to go along with him providing the measurement was taken by a Medical Corps Officer.
The doctor arrived and instructed the Chief to "Drop 'em," which he did.
The medical officer placed the tape measure on the tip of the Chief's weenie and began to work back.
"Dear Lord!' he suddenly exclaimed. "Where are your testicles?"
The old Chief calmly replied, " Vietnam ..." -
geriob1My Dirty Joke of the Evening......
A woman was in a coma. She had been in it for months. Nurses were in her room giving her a bed bath. One of them was washing her private area and noticed that there was a slight response on the monitor whenever she touched her there. They tried it again and sure enough, there was definite movement.
They went to her husband and explained what happened, telling him, 'As crazy as this sounds, maybe a little 'Oral Sex' will do the trick & bring her out of the coma.' The husband was skeptical, but they assured him that they would close the curtains for privacy.
The husband finally agreed and went into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat lined, no pulse, no heart rate. The nurses run back into the room 'What happened!?' they cried.
The husband said, 'I'm not sure; maybe she choked.'

geriob1Bad Joke of the Evening.....
The other day I went downtown to run a few errands. I went into the local
coffee shop for a snack. I was only there for about 5 minutes. When I came
out, there was this cop writing out a parking ticket.
I said to him, 'Come on, man, how about giving a retired person a break'?
He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. His insensitivity annoyed
me, so I called him a 'PIG.'
He glared at me and then wrote out another ticket for having worn tires.
So I proceeded to call him a 'doughnut eating NAZI.' He finished the second
ticket and put it on the windshield with the first..
Then he wrote a third ticket when I called him a 'moron in blue'.
This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I talked back to him the more
tickets he wrote.
Personally, I didn't really care. I came downtown on the bus, and the car
that he was putting the tickets on had one of those bumper stickers that
said, 'Obama '08.'
I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired.

maryannlHi Everyone,
Hope you all had a nice weekend!!! They go by tooooo darn fast!
I'll go back and read what I missed a little later on but right now, I have a question for JIM:
Hi Jim, when we went to HF, the nuns selected 2 little girls and 2 little boys to dress up as nuns and priests and participate in a "Saint's Day" parade, I think in the Bronx. If you remember what this was called, I can't remember but my sister was chosen as one of the nuns around 1961 and I wanted to add a caption under her pic on FB. Thanks in advance. Mary Ann -
