what did we do before computers, well if i can remember,ahhh lets see??
i think there was a lot of conversation, stories to tell, joking and laughing.
sitting in the kitchen over a cup of coffee just talking to each other.
now its email text, fb, myspace, twitting what the F i like the old way better!!!!
is anyone with me????

Hi Maureen ....just try to relax & take it easy ...especially after the surgery.
I worked at 911 with a guy from the neighborhood from 21st Manny Vissotti....and he only had 1 working kidney. So you'll be fine ....lets just pray for the best ....good to hear from you again! I also had a kidney stone blasted recently....and I have to go in for the other side ....what the hell is going on with our kidneys....????

Why is it that we always congregated in the KITCHEN? ....because we all like FOOD!!!!! My grandmother lived with us so the big thing was to have our cup of tea together and of course, she was a great cook so we were always in the kitchen!!!!

MaryAnn your so right ....when the girls surprised me at night ....we put my dining room chairs around my kitchen table.....how funny is that!

Back in the day ...we would sit on the stoop after having dinner.....I would love to see my Mom talking with Dottie DeAngelo ....We would give Dottie the eye to keep talking to my Mom ....so we could stay out later.....LOL

maryann, i dont know why either?? i think the kitchen is the heart of the home
that was always the way at my moms house, and so its was with all the families, i guess its an italian thing.!!!!!!

STILL UNTIL TODAY WHEN I HAVE COMPANY MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES RUN TO THE KITCHEN TABLE AND SQUASH THEMSELVES IN THAT LITTLE SPACE.......

Oh, Debbie, I'm so sorry, I know you must miss your sister very much. Too, too young. Sounds like the kids are starting school later this year, so you have a senior this year, you will become busy toward spring just before she graduates...... I remember it well!!!!
