Danny - I remember Andy Diorio very well. funny story about the Drum and Bugle Corp....I lived on 27th street, btw my address was 215.27th st.. anyway they were always coming down the block playing there music and my sister Jolene (she is going to kill me if she reads this) but she was so afraid of the band , everytime we would hear the band coming, my mother would have to put the radio or tv on so loud and she would cry so hard...and cover her ears.. I remember that like it was yesterday.....lol lol

I wanted to sleep a little later today, but someone was mowing there lawn at 8:30 this morning and woke me up...."MEN" lol lol

'younger' brother. Yes? I knew your brother very well, very, very well. He
was a good man, a good friend. Gone to soon! My mom thought he was adorable - looked like a little mop-head. Whatever that is... the description
just fit. We walked to the the train station together, many a morning. Of
course he had to wait for me many mornings...

My name was Franny Bruno and I lived just below 5th Ave on 20th St.
My best friend was Grace Coen - and that's how I knew Frankie - through
Jamsey and those folks. Also, Frankie and I were partners for Judy

Judy- that is just too funny that your sister was afraid when we played on the block. We did a lot of that right outside the church. I think 215 was right across the street so it must have been loud, poor baby. What a coincidence, we were five blocks apart at the same house number.

Well after my stoop sale was off then on again, it's off again!!!! My tenant told me yesterday she would put up flyers for today. I wanted to put it off for two weeks because I wasn't ready. I dragged whatever I had up from the basement, put up the tables and started to set up when she comes to tell me she never put up flyers and she wasn't going to do it!!!! Wth O well......I guess I'll go shopping with the money I didn't make.....lol
