Terry......I know it's easy for us to say not to worry but we are all praying for him.

Suzie......I once had a gum surgery and the doctor gave me steroids and I refused to take it. Too many side effects, it scared the crap out of me.

Patsy......i was up from 5:30, got the kids off to school, cleaned the house and ran all over 3rd ave doing errands. So i needed that hour nap!!! lol

suzie. i hope your poison whatever you got goes away fast. but the steroids really work, ask the doctor, if it can raise your blood presure. if not dont be affriad to take it.

terry maybe you should keep mia at your house. being she has chicken pox, poor baby. being your son going through all these test.

hey Deb ......Im afraid also .....you had to see me me this afternoon ...trying to take Benadryl for childrens dye free ......to make sure I didnt have an allergic reaction to that .....I finally got up to 2 teaspoons and fell asleep for 3 hrs....scratch that!

omg ....Deb .....is it hives? They said Poison Ivy isnt contagious unless you touch the oils from the leaves. Keep checking it ......funny thing Franny Lagreca had hives also!!!

You have be careful with those steroids.....they start you on them and ween you off. You're right Suzie....you have to finish....that's why I didn't wan to start them either.

Iam such a mess right now....the poison ivy feels worse....and I just read on google.....not to use Benadryl topical ointment or anything cause it will give
me a secondary allergic reaction.....so Im sticking with just soap & water and calamine. Im not gonna do the steroid pills or creme either unless it really gets worse.
