  • Hi All

Just wanted to say thank you again for all the good wishes and most of all
your prayers. They certainly work. I'm doing well and trying to get around
without the crutches. You know Debbie they are a pain in the ass. Your
leg feels good but now under your arms hurts. I am also trying to stop the
pain killers, they make you so tired. Hopefully I will talk to you all again
tomorrow. Thank you again and my love and prayers always.

  • Hi Guys: Just dropping in to say hello. I see a lot of nostalgia on the board recently and talk of the old neighborhood which is the best part of this board for me.
Terry: What a beautiful wedding pic. It's funny, my wedding dress was almost exactly like yours. High collar with lace. That was definately the style back then.
Question: Does anyone remember a rhinestone factory on 5th Avenue in the 30's. I remember Annette and Arlene Durante and myself used to sneek through the fence and pick up all the rhinestones that were scattered in the back. It was a weird place though. There were all these little sheds or shacks in the back and it was kind of scary but we did not let that stop us. We used to call it the Diamond Factory and were always so happy with all the jewels we had scooped up.

    Hi Anthony:

It means taking care of something right from the beginning will prevent it from getting worse and having a bigger job to fix later on.
