Hey Judy, thanks for the mention. It's rekindled love so yes...it is new in a way. I believe we have all heard the saying "the grass always looks greener on the other side." My response to that for years was that...yeah...once you get to the other side it can look greener where you came from. I thought I was so smart...lol. Another point of view given to me from a Pastor of a church years ago that I have adopted is "the grass is greener where you water it." Simple huh.
I hope you and your family can get into the Spirit of CHRISTmas during this trying time and make it one to remember.

Hey Al, I've seen you here before mentioning that you went to school with my sister Josephine. She went to St. Johns and I believe graduated in '70. Seems so long ago huh. I went to St. Johns with two Capraras that are cousins, Louis and John. I know you are from the area and can't imagine you not bein related. Although Judy here is a Giordano and not related to a Giordano from 20th st.. between 5th and 6th avenue. Good luck with your band tonight in Asbury New Joisey.

Well it was sunny until I got outside.....lol It's pretty grey out there now. I'm glad to be in.....going to have a cup of coffee to warm me up....and maybe a piece of pumpkin bread....lol

Hey Mike, here is some ancient history. I graduated from PS 40's on 16thst. (Long Torn Down) in 1947. The reason I mention it is I have seen some of the last names of people I graduated with on the blog and I was wondering if they were related some how: Anna Agoglia, Anne Marie Calvancio, Francis Troiano, John Biagini, Frank Compitello, Frank Greco, Joseph Iallonardo, Joseph Pascone etc: Some of them went on to Manual with me. :santa:

Josepj Iallonardo is my Uncle,.He married my Dad's sister Evelyn and they live about a half a mile from here.
He lived on 14thstreet and worked in the cleaners down there I believe.
Frank Compitello sounds so familiar I think he was fiends with my Dad. A guy came to the reunion by the name of Rocco Agoglia wonder if he is related might be his dad...Now another connection we have...Bunny and My Uncle Joe

What a small world this is and this blog has brought so many people together and that is amazing. What started out as a small thing has grown into bein a part of so many lives. I can break down all the negative things that have happened in my life but would rather focus on the positive that has come out of it. Does that mean I should find a dark place inside and bury those dark secrets? NO! That only allows it to fester. Each person has their own bottoms they must reach in order to realize the need for help. Help is available right here. Some might look at my bottom (hmmmm...who is lookin at my *bottom*? lol) and think...man...he's weak...is that all it took for him to reach bottom? And others might look and think...man...how can someone be that depraved? It's all a matter of perception.
I don't care if I sound corny to some because I know it is this kind of corny that has helped me get this far in my life and will continue to carry me further than some, including myself at times, ever thought possible.
I felt the need to share these thoughts and if *ONE* person gets something out of this, it will have been worth the effort.

So many people I talk to arent in the mood this year.....maybe we all

To give you guys a laugh .....you all remember when the Repo guy came
to pick up my leased truck ......because my payment was 62 days late
well......you'll all be happy to know my truck payment is up todate, my
mortgage pymnt was made, Nicole's tuition is up todate, car insurance
paid, Im feeling so good about Christmas......LOL.....I open the door to
go outside ...and there is a white paper on my steps ....saying Con Ed
was there to shut my electric....LOL ....cause Im late......LOL

Sooo I figure ....Thank God at least we have the truck to sleep in for heat
