Glad to hear Kati's feeling better. Helen, keep up the good work - chew gum. I was once told an urge for a cig lasts 11 seconds - sooo keep occupied and you won't even notice it.

Patsy - decided WW isn't good for me right now (I have a party or something every weekend thru the end of August) and rather not be only 1/2 good. I'll watch and be good till September.

Hi everyone, Hope you're all doing well in this heat!!! I tried to get on a couple of times but it's been a rough couple of weeks. I am making improvements with my arm... so far, I have one more appointment! The baby is so adorable, we had her baptism about two wks. ago, everyone fights to hold her!!!! This past wk. end, we went to a Pig Pickin and I got to hold her for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All, Thanks Anthony for including me in the Sunny Days wishes and the caution. I had a strange happening yesterday. When to the breakfast table, picked up the paper anf could not read the sports section. Everything was blurry. Now I know I am overdue for Cataract surgery (Dr is not pushing it) but I never had it this bad. Got to the eye dr's office and his nurse gave me samples of "Systane Ultra" eye drops. She told me to put in 2 drops in each eye 4 times a day for the rest of the week and then two drops twice a day indefinetly.. I thought she was nuts thinking that eye drops would clear up my eye problem. Guess what, this morning I could read the sports section just fine. In addition to the rest of your body you must keep your eyes hydrated. Even with sunglasses your eyes can dry out. (especially when you are my age) But it is important at any age. Keep thos peepers moist folks!!!! 8)

Hi Anthony, thanks for the summer music...especially the Beach Boys.
I'm going to see them at the Westbury Music Fair this Friday - I'm sure the audience will be singing along.
I went to see Chicago and the Doobie Brothers a couple of weeks ago at the PNC arts center in Jersey - let me tell you...those Doobie Brothers still sound great - and Chicago - wow - what musicians. You name it they played it...sax, trumpet, trombone, drums, harmonica, guitar, piano...and they played all their hits. What a good time!
