Sunny here going to the gym and then to the beach. We are so tired everyday we can not ge up early at all. I think it is all the junk we are eating...

Happy Rainy Thursday!!!
I got my flu shot yesterday morning, I was on line at 7:15 am. Boy, was I achy last night, went to sleep early. Not sure if it was from the shot or from being tense, I hate needles!!!
Debbie, Good luck to Katie to at the doctor's visit.
Patsy, I'm glad you have rain boots, I ended up wearing my high top sneakers but I don't have far to walk; I carried my sandals.
Anna, Nice to hear good news, glad Jessica is OK. Yeah, best place to grow up in B'klyn, such a warm feeling talking about the holidays and living there.
Terry, Frado seems like a very nice guy! I hope he wins!!!

Germaines...Terry your right my grandmother Connie Scog. was great friends with your mom and Karens Mom and sister who lived next door to us when we were on 20th before 18th. My Grandmother used to work at Germaines for a while...I still remember thier Santa's They were the best. My Uncle Chick was the best....my fav uncle. wow, touching.

today is my daughter christine's 29th birthday. boy how time flies. it seems like yesterday if had her. i am so lucky i thank god everyday for her. umbria glad to hear u got a good report from the dr. terry, we used to open the jars of pigs feet in einhors grocery store and eat them as me and fran were shopping. now i remember the chips and dip and we were all so skinny then and ate all day. lol..judy, thank u for asking how i felt in your post the other day i realized i didn't answer u, sorry. i am doing a lot better, have a little ways to go, but thank god i am here to talk about it. going to areo's saturday nite for christine's birthday dinner love that restaurant and so does chris. anyway, have a great nite all....

Hi guys.......
What a trip to and from the city!!!! I don't miss taking the trains I'll tell you that. Anyway they did x-rays and the dr was very happy with the results, thank you God. Next week we go to see the neurosurgeon and see what he has to say but I'm sure it will all be good. I can't believe that on the 8th of Oct it will already be 3 months!!

Morning from very wet and windy Manhattan -

I woke about 3:30 this morning cause I thought my house was going to blow away! Between the wind and the heavy rain the noise was unbelievable. Oh well, I'll need a nap around 11!!

Happy Birthday Lisa and Joe! Wow 60 - when I was young I thought they were soooo old - now I'm not that far behind. How'd that happen??

Patsy I know you like to read - read The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. It's about a young white girl who's raised by black slaves in Virginia in the 1800's. I'm almost to the end of it and wish it were longer. It's very good.

Terry you asked about the tickets and unfortunately I didn't get them. I keep checking to see about another discount. I'll keep you posted.

hi all thank u all for the birthday wishes for my daughter christine. umbria, my water main broke once when i lived in brooklyn and i had to fix it, because it was part of the pipe coming into my house and they said u are responsible for that. i know it sucks but what can u do, they get u comin and goin. my little anthony is here for a sleepover, what can be better. he brought his haloween costume with him, he is going to be peter pan and my christain is going to be a dinosaur, the costume is so cute on both of them... happy bday to lisa and joe marsella many more and enjoy the day, hope u are both well.....
