THE PETER STEVENS BAND: "" Hello fellow musicians,school chums, and cronies,

I am writing this message to hip you folks to one of the best kept secrets in N Y C.

....."The Peter Stevens Band". These fellows, for the last 15+ years, have been composing, creating and totally rocking out with original songs, down in the privacy of Mr. Peter Giordano's (Peter Stevens) studio in Brooklyn,N.Y.......WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN HIDING........WHY?......ARE THEY SHY?

I first heard them on the internet, and although my old friend Joe Pinto is their drummer, I had very little motivation to check them out, being jaded as I am from my years of professional playing........UNTIL I HEARD THE FIRST CUT....I IMMEDIATELY BECAME A FAN!

Their lastest CD is the epitome of alternative rock, combining elements of heavy metal,blues,classical and a certain"energy" all their own. The band also features Christian selections such as "Crucifix', and"Star So Bright"(Christmas Song) - a touching account of the 3 wise men journey. My favorite cut on the CD is a song called "Change My World". You can hear it on their website...www.reverbnation.com/thepeterstevensband... Also on the site, you can sign up to be a fan and kept up to date on the band's progress and gig dates

It's not often that I recommemd a band(especially if it's not my own)....but no fooling...you all should check out this innovative group of talented musicians....

Good Morning Guys.....It's another beautiful day.

Thanks Suzie for remembering the song I posted for you.

I am feeling very good and I am very excited about our upcoming show.

We really haven't played out anywhere in more than 2 years.

So ,you all can imagine how much this means to be to be playing in a real nice club, in bay ridge.

I know I have been asking you all to come(more than once),and sending e-mails and Facebook request to everyone. It's only because I love to play for friends and share my music with people I care about. And also, We play so little in public ,that who know's when the next time will be.

So, all I can say is...If any of you can make it, It will make me extremely happy

& burnt. Yesterday was a good day...I managed to do

alot by my parents before my kidney stones started

to hurt again. I feel better going to sleep at night

Hello All, Just back from our mini-vacation at the Hard Rock Casino-Hotel in Tampa. Was not the best trip there for us. They were refurbishing rooms on our floor and the noise was deafening. unfortunately Carol was feeling lousy at least 1/2 half the time there and of course the noise did not help. The Hotel management apologized for the noise and bought our room service breakfast from Wednesday as compensation. They stated that the front desk people should have warned us about the noise at check in and changed our room if requested. By that time we only had one night to go. There was No Noise at night. But it was like a boiler factory all day! By the way, we did not win but only lost a little. Carol is feeling somewhat better now but this damn I.B.S. really gets her (& ME) down in the dumps.

Hope Debbie is recuping well and will start to feel much better very soon. [-(

Drummers Lament.

I knew from start,deep down in my Heart,

it was what I wanted to be.

I don't know when it started, or how it began,

but I knew Drums were for me.

My dad once told me when I was very young,

I would take my spoon & fork, and bang on the dinner table

long before I was able to talk.

When I got older, my neighbors would say,

I banged on the trash cans 'til they chased me away.

All I needed was 2 sticks & a can,

and soon my "playing" got out of hand.

Mail boxes,light poles,even on my desk in school,

as long as it made some sound,was my only rule

I still play, until this day

and wouldn't have it any other way

And so now at middle age, I still dream of being on stage.

But now I have added,something new to my bucket list,

To be the oldest
