New coffee bar on Washington

No kidding. Have an estimated date of arrival?
-
To my untrained eye it looked close to finished. I bet a fortnight tops before they're up and running.

This is great to hear. I did a quick search and New World Coffee appears to be a small chain with under 15 locations total. They also offer franchises so this may be a locally owned shop levaraging the New World name and model.
Didn't someone mention that a friend of theirs was opening a coffee shop next to Ginger Root?
Here's the website for New World: http://198.63.43.170/ -

Is that a "tea leaf" joint, or do they actually sell tea? -

not sure, they haven't opened. which leads me to believe that the "joint" part is very critical to their survival. not really part of the business plan, though. -

Are you talkin' about Cuppa Tea? I remember seeing 'Natural' on their signage... I'm thinking herbal supplements, for some reason... :? -
There was a New World on Carroll and 7th for a long time, it's a Corcoran office now. The coffee was above average.

I agree, the coffee was very, very good. NWC would be GREAT on Washington, and I hope it's true that we're getting one.
I saw "Cuppa Tea" open for the very first time this evening. It looked sorta small and not well stocked yet, but we were driving by, and I didn't get a good long look at all. At least it was open. I've been trying to check this place out for many months, but it's always completely closed. -
You can trust the Scouse. It is next to Ginger Root, brown paper in the windows, definitely New World Coffee.

This is the building to the left of Ginger Root when you are facing the west side of the ave. correct?
