T-Mobile - Is it our cellphones or the service?

We live across the street from the park and since we moved, our cellphone reception has gotten from bad to worse. We both have brand new phones, both T-Mobile and I looked at their coverage chart and it gets pretty bad once you hit the park. (one bar to no bars)

I'm just wondering if anyone else has this issue or if our apartment just has dead spots. T-Mobile has been extremely accomodating so I'd rather not terminate my service, only to find that I have the same issue with a different provider. Anyone else having similar issues? Who's got good service? I had AT&T and it was crap and T-Mobile's bene great for the past 4 years but not to have decent reception in your own apt seems like a huge red flag to me.

  • I live on 8th Ave & I have a similar post from last week or the week before about my issues with T-Mo. I think it's the phones.

I have a "Wing" & my phone gets a full 5 bars in the park & everywhere around here - when it decides to work at all. After last week's network problems I did a master restore on my phone & have been doing a complete power cycle every day & it's acting normal again for now. This is the 4th time I've had to do a master restore in about 6 months. My boyfriend has one of their cheapie free phones & it works much better than my $350 paperweight.
  • I stupidly took a T-Mobil plan and never used it because it never worked (I'm on Garfield & PPW)
Then I took Verizon and it's never NOT worked. It's been great.
Go to this web site which helped me find a better plan:
