Cooking Class - Easy Fall Dinners, Sept 23

Join us for a new series of cooking classes designed to improve your skills in the kitchen while taking advantage of the season's best produce from local farms. Classes are taught by Kim Pistone, an instructor, caterer and personal chef. Kim has been cooking professionally for 13 years. She learned the most about fresh, organic food in her grandmother's kitchens and gardens. Kim believes that a few solid techniques, quality ingredients, and trusting your instincts goes a long way. You'll agree after you take a couple classes with Kim!

sept. 23 - easy fall dinner
In this very hands-on class, we will make a delicious, versatile weeknight dinner. Using organic, local and seasonal ingredients, we will make a quick marinade, a toasted quinoa pilaf, and a homemade vinaigrette. You will learn basic knife skills, as well as basic techniques such as blanching, sauteeing, and grilling. You'll also learn how to perfectly pan roast chicken, make easy tasty veggies, and a mixed green salad with your own dressing.
