Bichon Frise in need of adoption
Hey everyone... I received this email from one of my mailing lists and figured I'd post it in case anyone is looking to adopt a small dog in Brooklyn.

One of our Maltese Meetup group members has friends, who have split up and unfortunately, neither can keep their Bichon Frise boy named Doggy. He is extremely sweet and loves being around people, including kids. He is blind, but that does not stop him too much. Could you please spread your words on this OR if YOU are interested in welcoming Doggy as your family member, please see the contact information below or in the attached:
INTRODUCTION OF DOGGY!
Breed: Bichon Frise
Size: 14 lbs
Location: Brooklyn
Age: 9 - 11
Sex: Male
Altered (Spayed, Neutered, etc): Yes
Description: Doggy is a laid back little guy who's happiest in the presence of people and other animals. He's especially good with kids. He is blind due to cataracts, but is amazingly confident and otherwise healthy. His shots are up to date and his records are at Hope Vets on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. My wife and I adopted Doggy two years ago. We've recently split up and, unfortunately, neither of us can take him. He's a wonderful dog who deserves a wonderful home.

Update: Thanks for stickying this :-) I haven't heard any additional chatter on my mailing list so I would assume that he had been adopted? Feel free to un-sticky.
thanks
