  • I love how there are people saying that "ooh, that location is too scary." ...That location is also where the owners of Bicycle Station actually LIVE. And it's also two blocks from me.

But hey, if they're too scared to go there, it'll be easier for me to get in, I can get my bike back quicker...I got no problem with that.
  • Oh, that's AWESOME! They are one of the best bike shops in the CITY, and very cool people, also.

And yes, the do live right over there. When I started bringing my old bike in there to get work done, they asked me if I lived in Fort Greene, as apparently they had seen my bike chained up out in front of my house, and said they lived a block away.

This is great news for the neighborhood.
  • Awesome! I was sad they were going to leave, turns out they're getting closer!
  • dangit still! i wish this happened before i moved from that block.
  • That is like next to the BQE, no? What's wrong with that neighborhood?

nothing i can think of. i never thought my block was "scary". that big ass weird prism colored building they put up on adelphi though, now that is frightening.
  • I go past there frequently, the only scary thing I recall seeing was a car turn in front of a motorcycle, the motorcycle went boom. But the dude jumped off the back at the last second, which I thought was pretty cool. It left him there, staring at the carnage with the best WTF face on that I've seen in quite some time. He was unsure of whether to be happy at being 100% uninjured, or incredibly pissed at the car totally pulling in front of him and devastating his plastic clad sportbike.

    Um. Yay Bicycle Station.
