anybody know what the hell was up with whoever was throwing lemon halves out of the main jewish hospital building last night, about 10:45? i thought i was going to get hit coming home, and from the sound they made hitting car roofs, it would have _hurt_. must have been someone on a high floor.

yeah? well if so, tell him he sucks.

i don't like having to scamper for the safety of my awning after a long day, nor do i like more crap lying on the street, even if the lemon rinds are intended as a garnish to chicken bones.

What street was it thrown towards?

Do you know what floor it was coming from? Window or balcony? Or maybe you didn't notice cause you were busy running for cover....

thrown from 545 (formerly 555), the franklin side of the main building, onto prospect. not sure the exact source. i looked, but didn't see anything obvious. and the only thing i heard was the guy on the street yelling at him to stop. (at first, i was like "what's up with this obnoxious guy, yelling at somebody about breaking windows." then another lemon hit the car right next to me, and i realized that there were several on the ground around me, and that the yelling guy wasn't the problem with the situation.)

Oh yea, no, that doesn't sound like my guy at all. When he gets drunk, he throws things off his balcony, but there's a roof right below it, so stuff usually ends up there. (FWIW- every time he does this, I do give him shit).

But he never purposefully aims at people. Unless they deserved it. :twisted:

Fucked up, though. Sorry you had to duck lemons. Too bad you couldn't make lemonade out of it....
