For Mac users/drivers: an alternate-side parking calendar — Brooklynian

For Mac users/drivers: an alternate-side parking calendar

Hi gang,

For those of you who (a) park in Brooklyn (or one of those other boroughs) and (b) have a Mac, I've posted an iCal calendar with all of the 2006 alternate-side parking suspensions.

To use it, open up iCal, click on calendar/subscribe and then paste this in:

    this is incredible! THANK YOU!
  • Holy crap that's cool!
  • Subject: i second that

holy crap indeed. this is great.

    Thanks, this is great.
  • Terrific. I do this manually, but I like the idea of a subscribable calendar.

One quibble: would it not be better to start with "Suspended" so that in Month view that's the word you see first? Right now I only see "Alternate-Side Parking" which is just, well assumed -- "suspended" is the key word.

    Thanks.
  • is there a 2007 version?

THANKS for the 2006 version, by the way. I use it CONSTANTLY.
  • Yep, 2007 would be great...and can we get this onto the Brooklynian calender program? :)

That way it would help all folks, Mac or Windows a like (though not equal ;) )

Some of us are searching for Ben42 who posted a very useful iCal program with the alt side parking on it.

the original message is buried in the youtube-ish random board so I'm moving it to here in case Ben42 is still lurking....
