Anyone know about Rapid Realty NYC in Brooklyn? — Brooklynian

Anyone know about Rapid Realty NYC in Brooklyn?

I'm moving to the area and have an apartment I'm interested in through Rapid Realty NYC in Brooklyn. Has anyone had an experience with them they can share? Bad? Good?

  • Scammers. Bait and switch. Stay away!
  • I agree, I ended up going thru them not knowing their reputation and have ended up in a dump with a genuine slumlord and paying too much money. Now at the end of my lease I need to move again.
  • I used them but found the apartment on craigslist so didnt know until i got to their office.

regardless I rented it and ended up getting a deal because the apartment was priced incorrectly my the landlord (which I found out a couple months in).

they have 15% fees which is garbage.
  • thanks for the responses -- i ended up not going with rapid realty, got a no-fee place in park slope. there are a number of complaints filed against rapid realty with the better business bureau and with the state. and they've been sued over something.
