I am a working guitarist and vocalist with 15 years of experience teaching, making music and performing. I am the front man of a highly acclaimed indie rock band and studied music at Queens College.


Lessons can be tailored to what each student would like to learn, while encouraging the development of individual style. Basic beginners' lessons will cover chords, soloing, strumming, tuning and finger-picking. Beginners will progress to playing their favorite songs, as well as (if they wish) writing some of their own.
I am passionate about teaching, and garner much enjoyment from working with children and adults of all ages. I also teach family lessons--for parents and children who want to learn guitar together. Fantastic references available upon request.
