Artist Studio space?

A Newbie here, so forgive me if this topic has been already discussed to death. I am looking for cheap studio space to rent, I'm on Washington Ave BTW Park n Sterling. Any ideas? any other artists in the neighborhood who have spaces?

oooh intriguing, was deffinately thinking closer but I might go that rout, they look wicked nice. there are lots of abandoned (they look abandoned to me) garages arround the corner from me on Park Pl btw Washington & Franklin, I know some of them are active garages but some are deffinately un occupied, it'd be cool to get a buncha artists to rent the place together, and it'd be so close. yay
