rave: I can't believe I"m actually saying something nice about a Bush, but I think this is pretty cool for an 85 year old:

Rave: Scarlett, Brooklynbound, Carnivore, MeredithB. All of these people rock and are so awesome that words cannot convey.
-
Rave: Netflix is shipping on Saturday! Woohoo! (yes, I am THAT excited - I've been stuck at home for 7 weeks!)
-
Rave to you, Beave!!!!! Love ya!
-
Flexi, where did you that about netflix?? I checked the site and I couldn't find any info.
-
I got an email that one of my movies was received, which was weird because I didn't think it would register until Monday. Then I saw that my next movie is shipping today. Then I googled and it said that they were testing Saturday shipping in several markets this spring...so I guess they've either expanded, or we are one of those markets
-
ooh, I've got one shipping today as well.
Rave: strawberry cider at the green market is back! Get it while you can. Corner booth that always has apple cider. I like to drink it straight or use it in smoothies.
Rant: Can't decide how to eat this batch of strawberries. Lightly sugared with fresh whipped cream or make a cake (the Paula Dean recipe I found online is mouth-watering). Life is hard. -
AWESOME!!! I have no cable so netflix is my main entertainment!

Sour cream and brown sugar is the best. -

Rant: Due to the rain I decided to stay in.
Rave: It stopped raining (I think).
Rant: Now I have no plans. Anyone going out in North Slope tonight? -
Maybe your fiance?
-
Future Wife's tolerance is questionable, at best. We're sharing a bottle of wine right now, but I can see her wanting to nap afterwards. I heart Future Wife, but (thankfully) she doesn't have my drinking stamina.

Rave: Meeting Meredith B at a party in W'burg! My first offline Brooklynian experience!
Rant: The horror that came out of one of my 2-year old twin's butt, that was trailed throughout the house. If ever there was a reason against having kids, this was it. -

rant: Ew! Ew! Ew! WTF?????!   -
You don't like Meredith? I thought he was alright; I guess I thought he'd be taller.
-
rant: an image of superclams coming out of babysuperclam's ass and trailing it through the house....at a PARTY!
-
I guess I didn't make it clear that the ass incident was AFTER the party, when we got home. Meredith didn't get to see it, about which I'm sure he's happy.
The rest of your post was pretty accurate. -
rant: that's still pretty nasty :pukel: :puker: :puker: :pukel:

Rave: Not having children
-
Yeah, I have to agree. We had to wipe the floor with those bleach wipey-things. I'm just glad we don't have rugs.

There are advantages to not having children, and I can think of one right now.
Rave: At least only one of the twins had an explosion.
Rave: Hardwood floors that are well sealed. -
rant: even more details about the babyclam assplotion
-
If you have ever worked in food service, you know that this is why god invented the floor drain.
-
GROSS!! Babyclams AND what comes out of them.
-
Fine. I'll change the subject entirely.
Rant: Regardless of how you feel about the man, as a movie "W" was just crap. Missing big chunks, fairly boring, and the baseball metaphors were stupid.
Brolin had the accent down though.
Howdy, Stranger!
